What a lovely original looking car, you're right to be proud of it.
They must be getting rarer in South Africa as so many Fords of that era now seem to be being shipped to the UK due to the crazy prices they fetch here.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum!
That's a very nice looking Capri indeed, great colour. Can you post any more photos of it?
All the best,
Andrew.

Hi Andrew & Paul
Thanks fo ryour flattering comment! I'm not considering selling the car, but what do they fetch in the UK?
Will do a photo shoot sometime and post more pics.

Price of your car in UK if it's as good as it looks and no rust would be £8000 - £12000, which is approx 175,000 - 260,000 Rand, maybe more.
My South African pal, who is from near Jo'berg reckons you can almost buy a house in SA for the price of some of the classic cars in the UK, is that true?
