First capri! - 2.0 laser

Post by NaisiaN »

New to the forum, just saying hi!

fulfilled a childhood dream last week, bought my first Capri finally! Sat in one when i was a kid and was hooked ever since! I'm 26 now.
Lots of learning to do, hoping to be a fully fledged mechanic in no time!

Couple of pics, Not taken any proper ones yet. Got a few plans... creating a grill across the front including the lights, fatter tyres ( lettered) , tidy up the interior, new carpets etc, dying the trim black and recovering the seats. Touching up exterior paint (respray AstonM silver birch at some point), chrome trim around windows and possibly a mk1 bumper on front if i can find one. Going for the classic muscle car look, without making it look too far from original.

http://i1332.photobucket.com/albums/w61 ... himvjy.jpg - Bonnets dropped need to sort that :?

Probably be bugging you all with questions over next few months! :D

Hi,
What a smashing colour Capri you've got there.
I take it this is the car you'll be fitting the muscle car wheels to, as mentioned in your other thread?

Andrew.

More pics!

Took the back seats out, shell looks in pretty good shape. Plan is to carpet all the back. and put some new speakers in....not chavy ones though, just a good quality sound system.

Result!
I doubt the pepperpots will give you the look you're after, but what are the Wolfrace alloys like?
I suppose you could always sell the pepperpots and put the money towards some slotmags!

Aye true. I've never been that keen on pepperpots, I may sell them, depends on what i pay for them... otherwise i'll hang on to them, they will no doubt get rarer as time goes by.

Ive Just googled wolfrace to try and find the same wheels, and i think they may actually be slotmags? haha. They are the same as these...
