Good news re the MOT buddy and good luck with the house move. No doubt you made sure of decent garage space (on your must have list) when looking for the new pad... :D

I'm knocking the existing garage down to build a bigger one of course :D Downside is it's going to have a bedroom and ensuite above it so will be limited on what I can do in there but it will be a decent size :D

Hi,
That's good news. It's always a relief to come away from the testing station with a pass certificate! :D
Now you can enjoy taking the car for a drive, once the weather improves.

Blimey, how much time are you planning to spend in the garage?

lol the wife thinks I live in there anyway Andrew so may aswell !

Little problem

One of the jobs after the mot was to get the tracking done - but it wasn't far out ! Makes sense as it doesn't 'pull' to the left it actually steers to the left. It's easy to steer to the left , really light but harder to steer to the right , almost like a Manual rack ! Is the rack ready for a recon ?

Hi,
Chances are the rack has had it. However, before splashing out on another rack, it might be possible to adjust the the imbalance you describe. There is a post on another forum detailing how it's done.

All the best,

Couple of teething troubles when I took it to mum and dads to store .

Quite violent wheel wobble and not at so high speed - thinking it's related to the steering tack issue though as it doesn't wobble going left .
Speedo no worky
Also what should the oil pressure read at Tickover and whilst running please guys ?

Hi Lee,
At tickover, my oil pressure is just above the 1/4 mark, and when running it's just below the 1/2 mark. I believe that's about right for the cologne.

Panic over then Andrew as that's about mine :)
What Made me ask was its started lovely since finishing it - starts and fast idles , slows down nice to tick over between the dots etc BUT that was until its first proper drive out to here - about 8 miles ( mot station was only quarter a mile ) and it's now hunting for a Tickover - drops to almost cut out and then revs up and takes a while to settle . Saw oil pressure was only a 1/4 and thought it could be low ! Obviously not :)
