No Sheff. It's the very rare non custom model. Spot lights are non ford. Ford ones are accessory items.

I didn't want to sell it. I've sold it due to falling short of the mortgage needed for my next house. Damn self employment!

It's given me the opportunity to try a Capri though, so may end up not being a bad move? I don't know, you lot will have to tell me as I have never owned a Capri!

Have a look at the car in this thread Lee, it belonged to an old boy I used to know probabably 20 years ago. He used to deal in 2.8i Capris back then, I bought one from him. This car was always my favourite !!

Yeah back then the walnut looked cool, similar to a Tickford but yes tastes change as time goes by. As for the Cortina, I think I might be testing the water soon. Like a lot of these older cars, great to look at but as soon as you drive them you start to wonder if you've done the right thing lol

Try driving something even older with a Steering Box instead of a Rack

Yeah, I bought it with the intention of fitting a rack along with a big power Zetec etc etc but when I started working out the costs I realised I might have bitten off more than I can chew so I've finished it off as a period modified car, very nice , but not what I set out to do so I'm sure it'll be for sale soon. Add to that I'm starting to realise that the more you spend on a car doesn't necessarily equate to more fun if you know what I mean.

Well, sometimes people can be apathetic about things like this. Look at, for example, the new sticky threads in the projects thread. I'm the only person to post a photo so far!
As I said, I'm glad I was wrong. And that you were outraged enough to post lots of photos of your stunning car. :D

Andrew.

Andrew.
Hi Andrew,
I see what you mean by the project threads. I was put off from posting in there due to the words "Original spec" I figured there must be a few on here that have cars in original condition and hoped they could add their photo's.
I wasn't outraged! Just happy to post pictures and figured others may want to do the same so kept the numbers down...... a bit :D

All the best
