Yes left deposit and booked a trailer today. Collect a week on saturday. Not much left to do on the car, depends on what standard I want it at this time.

Yeah back then the walnut looked cool, similar to a Tickford but yes tastes change as time goes by. As for the Cortina, I think I might be testing the water soon. Like a lot of these older cars, great to look at but as soon as you drive them you start to wonder if you've done the right thing lol

Yeah, I bought it with the intention of fitting a rack along with a big power Zetec etc etc but when I started working out the costs I realised I might have bitten off more than I can chew so I've finished it off as a period modified car, very nice , but not what I set out to do so I'm sure it'll be for sale soon. Add to that I'm starting to realise that the more you spend on a car doesn't necessarily equate to more fun if you know what I mean.

Well, sometimes people can be apathetic about things like this. Look at, for example, the new sticky threads in the projects thread. I'm the only person to post a photo so far!

I see what you mean by the project threads. I was put off from posting in there due to the words "Original spec" I figured there must be a few on here that have cars in original condition and hoped they could add their photo's.
I wasn't outraged! Just happy to post pictures and figured others may want to do the same so kept the numbers down...... a bit
