Thanks very much.Prepped the tank and it's now on.Image Image the engine and box has been stored at the back of the garage for a while now so.pushed the car out .Cleaned the garage up .Wheeled the engine out.and shoved the car back in.shes ready .Fridays the big day .Image Image Image need to change a couple of seal ont gearbox and she's ready .

Cheers Andy.scratched the bulkhead.and scratched the front spoiler while putting it in.but easy fixes.balache of a job.glad it's in.still a bit to do.butgetting there

There will always be touch ups along the way, it's "character building", so I'm told :lol:

I broke a Mk2 3.0 S about 10 years ago, really was a shame, but it couldn't go back on the road (the last owner died, and the family sent off the logbook as scrapped before they'd let me take it), it needed quite a bit of work, but was structurally sound, it's always haunted me a bit that one, I've kept my eyes out for one on and off since, and never came across anything decent, there's one less than 5 miles from my house, now sitting in grass slowly rotting away, but th eowner's "going to do it up when I get around to it" :wank:

Bit more done .Power steerings all on.servo on.rad on.ive decided to use a 2.8 rad as it came with the correct radpanel.ive got the original big header rad but needs refurbishing.so IL sort that at a later date.horn back on.need to get a new coil.and finish the brake pipes.exhaust.oil for the diff.gearbox and engine.shouldnt b long before the big start up :roll: Image Image Image Image

I just love your car, it's better than mint! You've done a superb job so far on it.

My favorite Capri is the MK2 S and I'll be buying one if and when I find a suitable one.

Cheers Paul.im trying my hardest mate.nearly there.hard work with work and all.cheers.ive had the manifolds glass blasted and I've coated them with barbeque pAint.worth a try.il buy new later Image .I broke the reverse switch but £34 for a new one.looks like IL Ave to night the bullet and order one .

Eyup.cars nearly finished.justgearbox oil.axle oil.throttle cable and I've got a new set of exhausts.i have a set of stainless custom made exhausts but they're not up to scratch.so IL sell them to take the sting out of the price of the new ones. Image..I'm a week of starting g her up.then a few electric gremlins.job done

Bonnets find ally back and on.feel like I'm getting somewhere Image bloody radiator sprung a leak so a bloody expensive record and now all back on Imagefixed the clocks.the electric tape on the back was nackered so pinched a minter off a set of newer clocks.as .mk2 clocks are different Image these Are the ones i stripped Image Image job done
