I'm cleaning up under the bonnet and drilled the rivets out of the bar which is situated sort of a quarter of the way up as its well rusty.not sure what it actually does and there's the rubber missing of it.anyone kno what sort of rubber is used please Image Image cheers mel

Cheers for that .cars got some stardust silver on woohoo.needs flatting n polishing.but chuffed.i get it back saturday.Image[/URL[URL=http://s131.photobucket.com/user/meltaz ... 7.jpg.html]Image ] Image Image Image fi ally finished the loomsImage. Ive been in the attic and uncovered the interior.i shoved it in there a few years ago.i need to give it a reyt good cleaning.not sure how .shampoo.steam jet wash ?..

These seats are 39 year old and I dont want to feck um up.i dont think il get another set.so im a bit worriedabout cleaning em .theyre manky.Image

Apart from needing a clean, those seats look excellent, car is going to look fantastic with those back in the car. Got to be honest, i'd have to seek advice off a professional cleaner on those. Wouldn't want to mess them up. Paint looks superb, it's great to see projects come together, gives anyone who's doing the same a boost. Cheers for the update :goodluck:

Thanks for replies.means a lot.ive waited sooo long for the car to be painted .got bored so.ive just restored a 1990 kx 125.so need to find somewhere for it before saturday.Image..wife says im having a mid life crisis haha.think I am .took it out last week to a track.i forgot how quick these bikes are.loved it.

Done.carpet cleaner from hire shop. Image Image carpets done as well.Image I did them twice .this is the first time omg ! Image

Cars back and the paintwork is excellent.now for the good bit Image new back lights in .refurbed bumper on .lights wired up .refurbed badges on Image loomin ready to start fitting .then realised id brought it thru in the wrong place.all sorted now.window wiper motor in.and heater box.getting thhere slowly

Looks amazing, well done!
I wouldn't have been brave enough to use a carpet cleaning machine on those seats, but I'm glad it all worked out OK in the end. The end result is really good.

Bit of bling in bay.washer bottle and new pipes.zinc plated washer jets in.loom in place.top dash in .bottom dash bits in tmorro.then im ready for the carpet.Image lecci aerial back in

Bit more done roof linings in Image rear washer bottle cleaned and in Image .dismantled the clock as it had rust marks on the inside of the clock.rubbed down and painted a small metal frame which sits inside the glass.thats now inImage.
