1970 Ford Capri 1300 HC V4 XL

Hello everyone,

My name is Mirza. I'm 27 years old and I live in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I'm proud owner of the 1970 Ford Capri 1300 HC V4 XL. The car was originally bought by one architect from Sarajevo. He bought it new in May 1970. The car was made in Cologne, Germany in April 1970. He passed away in late 90's and my father bought it from his wife in 2000. My father with a little bit of my help finished the restoration in 2005. So, the car is spending it's whole life here in Sarajevo!

Thank you! It's a small engine. It sounds decent I guess. It's slow as it has only 39 kW, but it can go for hundreds of thousands kilometers. Hopefully one day it'll have a 302 W under the bonnet!

Yes it was. Every year in second week of the May we have a three day classic cars meeting. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Lots of fun!

This looks so good it could be a set of press photographs when Ford first launched the Capri. Rostyle wheels really suit a Mk1, you've done an excellent job on this car, nice one.
