It doesn't look that bad in there to be honest. Just remove that funnel and you'll be right. Nice car.

Nice one.

I have a Mk 3 I'm restoring, but in my search for engine parts I've come across a MK 2 Ghia in need of restoration also.....I'm tempted to buy it and have the Quadrella...Mk 1 V6 GT, Mk 1 Perana replica, Mk 3 3.0s replica and possible Mk2????

Love the colour as well.

Nice Is it a 2.0 or 3.0 Ghia? if it's a 3.0 Ghia Mk2 it can be worth easily over £10.000 , mine is a rare one It's a 3.0 Ghia Manual which was only available on 1974 aand 75 model years , i have talked to different Capri " experts" and they say mine might be worth between £ 12.000 or even £ 15.000!

Ignition system trouble finally sorted Bosch distributor back in the engine, brand new cap rotor points and condenser :

Also saw this beautiful White TVR 3000M race car with a stunning 240 bhp 3.0 / 3.1 Essex in it that sounded incredible made me feel so envyous

3.0 Ghia most expensive model back in the day ! the Ghia interior and badges give the car a really classy look that you don't get in other Capris other than the Executive or the GXL :)

How cool is this, your car is now featured on the Capri Wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Capri Right hand side just below the MK11 specification box 8-)

All the best
