Great looking Capri........... Love those wheels and the grill, but not too sure about the bumpers. IMO they look best with no bumpers, but I'm too scared to go down that route with my Car.
TEL is a Bournemouth registration number, do you know which garage supplied it back in 1980?

hI , Im roger and new today to the site,
love the car and all the pics bring back memories of my 79 capri in the 80'S, sadly it got prematurely written off in 88.
like the choice of widened steel wheels , look great.
gives me enthusiasm as I am about to embark on the project of my 84 capri.
Im in Hampshire -Andover near near Basingstoke,... where are you??
im not great on forums as is first foray into this , might forget to check.

Capri is still going strong! Three years of ownership and has undergone a whole lot of work since then.
Have needed the floor pan and sills welded for the last two MOT's, engine replaced, oil/fuel filters, fuel pump, HT leads and spark plugs, track control arms, the list goes on. Also been adding bits of mk2 Capri because I prefer the style of it, e.g grille, bumpers and recently purchased rear lights.
Plan is to also eventually upgrade the leaf springs and shocks
