Re: Ford Capri Calypso
gorgeous mine should look just like that but doesn't it's really nice to hear that you are planning to keeping it as original as poss. Mine is a little to far gone (budget issues) to be brought back as anything other than slightly modified but hopefully I'll get the essence of the Calypso back.
Thanx for the piccys there the first good Calypso pics i've seen

Re: Ford Capri Calypso
That's a very tidy Calypso! doesn't look like it needs much in the way of restoration. (wish i'd kept my two-tone paint now, might have to resurrect it)

It looks superb.
The wheels really suit the car.

Re: Ford Capri Calypso
Afraid not - decided I must do something about the manky driver's wing before MOT so finally took it off late last August - then began sorting out the A-pillar and some sections of floor at the driver's side - just returned to it now the weather is warmer. Thinking I may as well tackle the passenger side this summer whilst all is already in bits.have you got your capri on the road for this summer? Would to have a meet up.
Those wheels really do look - must get a set myself when all is ready. Like I said, used to see various two-tone Capris that had been resprayed in one colour - so seeing one in it's original colours is alwaysa treat.
