Beautiful dude! Makes me want to put my bumper back on. Are those Starmags or Compomotives under the arches? Whatever they are the satin black and silver rimmed effect looks excellent. There's nothing about that car I don't like.
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.

Thanks! :D :D :D They're compomotives, 7x13 front, 8x13 rear, both on 205/60/13. Doesn't look it in the pics but it's actually a dark metallic grey in the centres. I love them, they really do transform the car imo. I've noticed a lot of people on the street seem to check it out now too, much more than before! Coupled with the new manual transmission and being unable to drive it for near on 4 months I'm loving every second behind the wheel!

if it were me i'd put louvres on the window but then thats up to you and if you want to see out the back window XD Lookin better and better :burnout:
Insurance wise for an 18 year old it was the Capri.... or the 1.0 fiesta. I chose the loud, shouty car instead =D

Yeah, I've been tempted (on and off) by a rear louvre several times over the years. Still not sure if it will suit it or not though. Incredibly chuffed with managing to find and nab that spoiler though! It's an RGA Aero 1 btw :)

Been spurred in by the Brookland meet to do some jobs on the car.

Had a rusty scrape/dent for a long while now on the rear arch:

Used some rust remover gel that I picked up on it, worked wonders!

Now just need to finish off and paint.

Less black, more chrome:

Replaced the splitting centre console armrest with decaying foam with a fancy leather cover:

Edit: Wow, those pictures are reall hi-res and unforgiving of blemishes!!! :crying:

Hi.

Yes mate, I had that feeling too. That's the thing with these shows, you tend to spend most of the journey home making a longer list of jobs to do in your head than you had beforehand. Some truly fantastic cars at Brooklands.

I really enjoyed reading through your thread here fella. And its always a pleasure for me to see another Pinto. Love Em ! Keep up the good work :applaud:

All the best now

Hi,
Very nice wheels, they really suit the car. I like the colour of them too.
In reference to your post above the last one, is the car still pinto powered?
I realise that time is relative and you "do things slowly", but that post was two and a half years ago, so something might have been done by now! :D

Lol, still pinto powered! Engine swap might be in the future but think I'll stick with the pinto for the moment. Two and a half years? Shit that's scary how fast that's gone!

Hi,

I know this post may have been dead for a while, I hope you're still active on the forum, but I just wanted to say that I really like the look of your Capri, and I'm going for the same look as yours. Less black, more chrome!

I have seen this Capri on multiple pictures while looking for inspiration on google images, and i'm a fan of the chrome bumpers (can't seem to find those anywhere ): ), Chrome door handles, wipers, mk2? grill, wheels and the spoiler.

I was wondering, where did you get that spoiler? I haven't seen any other Capri with it.

Cheers
