Hi!

Post by Black on Wight »

Hi, Im Rich, from the Isle of Wight, just got a 2.0 Laser. Bought it for £350 on Sunday and it passed MOT with flying colours yesterday.
I compete in the Isle of Wight Autotest Championship- http://www.iowcc.co.uk/gallery/atherfie ... C_1205.JPG

I did have a Triumph Dolomite, until my Girlfriend decided to give it a try.....

The plan for the Capri is a little bit of cosmetic bits and pieces and then tuning, with the aim of doing some sprints next year aswell as the iowcc tarmac events. I will be using a car I dont care about for offroad events from now on.
I cant work out how to actually put my own photos up though

Hi Rich
That looks fun, and you have now learnt the lesson NEVER let a woman drive your car,
The simple way to post up piccys is set up a photobucket account (free) and just copy and past on to hear.

Hi Rich,
Welcome to the forum.
For piccies, if you click on the 'Img' box above where you type in your text, then paste the image address:

htp;/////webwebwebdotetcjpgdotgifdotwhateverphoto

in between the two sets of brackets then it should show up as a photo on the post.

Excellent weekend, two events in two days
Really impressed with the capri, after all the tales of "capris handle shit",
it was faultless. I was running slicks for the first time ever which obviously helped
but the main issue was stopping the fronts coming off the rims. I had to put the pressures right up, which lost a bit of grip, but slicks are amazing! I ve got a seriously bruised knee, every left I kept whaccking it on the window winder. I managed tenth in class out of 35ish and took some big scalps for a bog standard Capri. My mate in the TVR stopped making medallion man jokes after I beat him both days!
