Hi thought this looks like an interesting 2.8; reasonably priced, has anyone driven one of these 3.7 cologne conversions?

Dr B had a 3.6 for sale a couple of years ago.

This car was at Brooklands in 2014, it was in terrific condition then and it doesn't look as if it's changed much since.

Nice looking car and looks pretty standard, no one would know of the upgrade :)

Car(s): Just sold 1983 2.8 Injection 5 speed. Currently restoring another classic Previously owned 2 Capris. Likely to own another at some point

Very nice. I wonder if they used the standard crank from the 4.0 litre Cologne that was used in the Explorer & Mustang or if this was a purpose made crank.

Yes I believe they used the 4.0L crank and offset ground the crank with 0.060" oversize bearing to increase the stroke 2mm, from 84mm to 86mm stroke. Bore was 95mm IIRC. 3660cc

Only 223 brake for all that displacement? Am I missing something? Like the point?
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.
