Re: Oh I wish
Reallistically I can't buy any more at the minute. I'm in the midst of doing up my house to sell and buying my sister out of her share of my late mum's house as well as urgently needing to get a new daily as the old skoda is starting to need work and give grief. I will also have to get rid of my SD1 Vitesse, Fiesta Mk2, Polo and my 2.0S Capri.andyd wrote:Nice car with lots more pics on the Capri 280 website

I can still dream though and one day i will find a MK2 "S" that I'm in a position to buy.

Re: Oh I wish
It was on display at Brooklands in 2014 too. I can't dispute that it is a rare car, but it's definitely an acquired taste.Caprifan Rob wrote:I've seen this car at the NEC, have to say I appreciate it but it's not for me, especially at that priceandyd wrote:At the Dr's too https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1015909 Still not sure about the looks of this

It was for sale a few years ago, also at £45K, if I remember correctly. It didn't sell though.

Look at the length of the Stampede's description on Dr B's site...….
It would take less time to read every single volume of the Encyclopedia Brittanica !

I'm not surprised, it would take a (very) special purchaser to pay that. There are a lot of nice cars out there for that sort of cash.Andrew 2.8i wrote: It was for sale a few years ago, also at £45K, if I remember correctly. It didn't sell though.
