Nice condition car. An opportunity to own such a low mileage 280 doesn't come along very often these days.

Oh go on then, I'll take it. Although I think Dr B needs a lesson on how to detail the engine bay from Andrew & Nick, the paint may be shiny but I wouldn't want to open the bonnet if parked next to our forum friends, especially if I'd just paid over £30k for it.
Nice car though.

If I had loads of money (80s talk ) I would have a very large man cave / garage and just buy that to look at but I will say I am very happy with my little Capri I have . And also I would have a mk1 Escort and mercury grey XR3i with mk1 Capri & mk2 white jps. O yes loads of clocks and pocket watches .

Don’t think I would need a big house as I would never be in there might just pop home for dinner and to see the kids and wife . Me dog would be with me as normal .

Sorry gone in to dream mode .

From what I understand from the advert, Dr B isn't actually selling the car, merely listing it for it's current owner. Thus, he can be excused for the car not being up to his usual standards of cleanliness.

Hi Jason, have you noticed that even 80's watches have had a comeback, they have remade this (as well as others) which was popular back then. I still have an original one.

Nice to see older style watches making a comeback Paul :)

I loved watches when I was younger, can't stand them on my wrist now though.

It’s funny you say that as I did have some old Timex divers watches that were 70s and they sold for around £60 each also people are collecting 70s 80s watch’s even them plastic swatch’s that have a cheap battery are going for stupid money .
Many watch & clock people thought that watch’s were coming to the end of there life due to the mobile phone but like old records they are making a come back .
But the old casino you was the dogs ..... if you had one of them also loved the beeping alarm you could not beat .

It's great to see isn't it. Also, old calculators I have noticed are starting to become collectable. All these things that we had in abundance back then. I can only assume that the charm and 'feel' of items we used to have is what people are craving for now in this modern age of blandness.

I used to have a Timex for years, loved it, went through a few straps but the watch just kept on working. Might still have it as I kept the watches I always used to have, must get them all out. I used to love analogue stopwatches too, not something you tend to see now, still got a Smiths one.

My fault dreaming of my ace garage with clocks and watches and perhaps a fighter jet on the roof and a old juke box in the corner so I can play music to my cars ( I have been caught out talking to my old Capri at work when I was doing a oil change in the underground car park )
