Your new Capri is so so & so again better . I would say to get your old one right again your looking at 5k and the rest to get close to your new Capri .
But as me I guess it’s the memory’s that a car can hold .

Hi,
I agree that you're in a much better position with the car you've got.
It wil be interesting to see what your old car sells for.
Andrew.

Re: My old capri for sale again!
As my kids and wife are watching this british bake off I was thinking the same as you Andrew as I notice 2.0 capris going up to the 10k mark now with a green 2.0 gl I think up for 14.5 on eBay .
If interest rates go up this or next year I wonder if classic car prices change ?

Re: My old capri for sale again!
cheers, Yeah fully agree my new one is a lot better, wasn't worth spending all the money to get that 2.0 sorted.
now i have a mint one tho i wouldn't mind my old one back lol just to mess around with and not worry about value of it, plus i like the red!
also off topic but thought id share... i was watching a salvage/restoration program again and while the host was chatting to the seller stood in a barn i noticed in the distance a rear 'door' card for a capri sat on the shelf behind him... i got excited that id spotted n told my mate who called me a sad b*****D for knowing that .. the correct term is enthusiast isn't it?

Went for £2840 in the end. Not too bad a price for a 2 litre these days.
