Hi Andy,
Judging by the other listings from the same sellers, I'm willing to bet that the same scammer is behind all the listings that you've linked to, albeit under different user names. It's the same sort of stuff, cars, motorhomes and plant machinery. Also, the contact e-mail addresses for all three sellers end in @dsapp.uk.
Surely it would be very easy for Ebay to put a stop to it, the scam is so blatant.

Yours,
Angry from Ceredigion.

Good thing too, although it must be a constant battle against the scammers. You'd think it would be much less admin work for Ebay to put the checks in place before the car sales listings went live. For example, they could only allow sales of expensive items from verified accounts.

Funny I have been watching this for over a year now as I was looking for a Capri it's always such a low price and I did send a question threw the eBay questions and the poor blokes account said that eBay was just looking in to it for him and they were there for at least 24hrs I do think eBay should do something more for its customers as they seem to just want your cash all the time . I think BBC watchdog should get involved then eBay might get of its butt and do something . :python:

Yes, there seem to be a constant flood of scam adverts these days.
I really hope that nobody is taken in by the scam listings, however, the scammers must have some success with these otherwise they wouldn't bother.

One thing I have noticed is that the 'sellers/scammers' accounts all have one thing in common, they have never sold anything on there only purchased items, not sure why this is the case, perhaps there is some extra registration/validation process to be done if you sell on there

No, I don't think so, zero rated sellers are able to sell on Ebay. However, all sellers are required to have a PayPal account on file in order to pay their listing/selling fees. This in itself should provide some account validation, so I'm not sure how the rogue sellers circumvent that.
It's quite often the case that rogue sellers make several small purchases in order to appear more respectable by having a positive feedback rating.

If only there was a system in place to infest the scammers with the fleas of a thousand camels. That would stop them in their tracks!

If you look at his "other items", there are about 3 pages of fraudulent adverts including 2 stags, a capri, Datsun 240Z and loads of motorbikes.

As you said this :wank: wants castrating at the neck. Total bloodsucking villain.
