Thanks mate, I did see that but the mix and match interior,rightly or wrongly, got my worried. For that sort of money I would want it to at least look right if you know what I mean.

Yes that one has a few story's I think, it has had a exchanged/reconed engine and now only done 54k but new engine number not changed on v5, ghia dash later grey plastic trim and full length console seats from a late 2.0 s, and i may be wrong but did not the s capri have 1000, 2000 etc on the rev counter rather than the later 10, 20 etc, as used in the 2.8 and last 2.0s capris before they dropped them. They are things that could of been changed to make it better as the standard S interior is nasty even with the option fishnet seats, but it should hit the price as a full mint interior that it needs will set the buyer back a couple of grand if they can find one.

So I arranged to view this evening and then the chap texted me telling me he couldn't bring himself to sell it anymore. Then I see he's readvertised it for seven grand more!! I would advise anyone who's interested to tread with care!!
