Re: Nice
Hi,
I agree, it is a stunning condition car.
Taking into account the car is being sold by a dealer, I think it's reasonably priced. Some dealers would certainly value it higher......

That looks stunning, and according to the dealer, it's completely original.
I wonder what the asking price is? I suspect that the dealer is expecting top money for it.

I think POA is more like saying "we're too embarrased to print the price". I bet they won't reveal the asking price over the phone.
It puts more people off going to view the car because they assume that the dealer is asking silly money.

Re: Nice
Agree with that point - what I don't understand is why owners sell to dealers when there are lots of enthusiasts that would buy the car if priced right directly from the vendor - especially in that condition. I get the argument about a hassle free, easy sale when sold to a dealer but surely the owner must realise the sale price to a dealer is less than sold directly to an enthusiast - suspect that will carry a price around 30k and will remain for sale for some time to come.andyd wrote:100% Correct Andrew.Andrew 2.8i wrote:Hi Andy, andyd wrote:POA Like the saying; "If you have to ask the price, you cant afford it"

It seems common for cars to be advertised privately for a few weeks, and then they appear at an upcoming Auction....
Probably due to lack of response or tyre kickers
Have sold to dealer twice and it is a lot less hassle, but you have to bear in mind that the dealer will put their mark up on it and that can be depressing, especially when it sells within a week at £2500 more in my first case
