Is it me, or do they estimates seem more reasonable than those for similar cars at Anglia car auctions?

They certainly are more reasonable.
Having said that neither the 280 nor the Special are in particularly good shape, and there's no written description that I could see. Compared to the cars at East Anglia recently I'm not surprised these are advertised for less. We don't even know if they're running.
£10-12k for a LHD Mk1 seems a bit steep to me.
The Mk2 looks like a bargain though. It seems in really good shape from the pictures.

Looking at cars from the past that have been for sale / sold in Scotland, it appears they do have lower expectations on what the values are - still, great for buyers if they are looking and prepared to travel
