Is that a Brooklands turbo? I'd be interested to know about it; an a relatively new enthusiast, so the more info about the car, the better! Cheers

I have a strong suspicion it'll be outside of my budget, however if it's not, I'm very interested.elliecharlie2008 wrote:it is indeed low mileage

Under Offer
Why would a dealer put rubbish like that in the ad, they're dealers, they sell cars, that's all they do, if they'd painted the walls white before they took the pics they could've put enough on the price to spend the time typing up a proper advert, if they wanted inspiration they could've looked at Fine and Country estate agents, they even do little rhymes for each houseHaving been part of a private collection, we now feel that this car should be used and enjoyed.

Factual is good, but these days factual tends to be blurry, something between a legal contract, written by a team of solicitors, Ken Dodd's accountant, with a bit of Alice in Wonderland mixed in there for good measure, you can really tell the property investors are buying into the classics now the property market is a tad wonky when the dealers come up with "under offer" on an advert for a CapriAndrew 2.8i wrote:Hi,
I wish sellers would stick to factual descriptions.

I'll believe it when I see the first car to be sold "subject to contract"!andy a wrote:you can really tell the property investors are buying into the classics now the property market is a tad wonky when the dealers come up with "under offer" on an advert for a Capri

Thanks. It's in such good condition. 200 miles from me approx. I'm watching it and might see if any hauliers on Anyvan would transport it down for a fair price.
Good point.....Sounds genuine enough thoughAndrew 2.8i wrote:Hi,andyd wrote:At £6300 with 8 hours left.
It's hard to assess the condition of the car when there aren't any photos of the bodywork forward of the doors.
A bit of an oversight by the seller or maybe deliberate?
Andrew.
