Well, yes. However, I feel that with classic cars, the condition of the car as it stands is more important than proof of servicing from back in the day.
Obviously, it all depends on what you are willing to pay. The perfect situation is to buy a mint condition genuine example with the service history and invoices to back up the car's condition. However, due to budgetary restrictions, this is not always possible and compromises may have to be made.
This car looks OK, although it's difficult to accurately assess the condition from the photos. Perhaps it's a little overpriced, as it does appear to need a bit of work to make it presentable.
