Re: offered cash
Buying a number plate?...................why would you have to travel to purchase a number plate?
it's a piece of frikkin paper, in fact not even that as I guess it's computerised nowadays ....... maybe I've got the wrong end of the stick.
I wouldn't trust anyone these day's I'm sad to say.

Re: offered cash
I once had the pressure washer out cleaning the underside in the entry at the back.. (this was some years ago when they were still quite expensive) I did see a small collection of yoof further down the entry, didn`t pay them much attention. I think they noticed me though as that night the padlock was cut off the garage door and everything of value, welder, compressor, spray bun, even a couple of PCs I`d built up for people, all boxed - whole lot cleared. Of course it COULD have been random...
You cannot trust people any more, always assume the worst, that way you can`t be disappointed.

As much as it disappoints me to say this, I agree with the two comments above.
I always treat unknown people with suspicion. It's not good, but it's the way you have to be nowadays.
Andrew.

In addition to that, I treat many people whom I do know the same way. And that's perhaps even more disheartening.Andrew 2.8i wrote: I always treat unknown people with suspicion.
