That's as close as anyone is going to get to a brand new Capri.
Except, of course, for the reputed three unregistered 280s.
Andrew.

I would much rather buy this than a £60k 5500 mile RS Turbo

Re: 280 Capri
Exactly, that fact alone would put me off buying it. Unless you are strong enough to just go ahead and use it. Life's short after all, for both humans and cars!samholmes wrote:That 280 is fab but you would never dare drive it !

Something doesn't seem right
Yesterday morning there were 2 ads with different sellers but same pics and location....1 at £7500 and 1 at £6000. The £6k ad was removed and now the £7.5k ad has been removed to be replaced with the £6k ad again with no mention of genuine 29k miles
Seems too cheap anyway.......as it is a dealer

That new ebay link doesn't seem active either. This kind of thing just makes alarm bells ring.

Hi Andy,andyd wrote:Something doesn't seem right
I would say that the original ad was genuine and the two subsequent adverts are scams. However, on the latest advert at least, the positive feedback rating of the seller seems too high to suggest a scam artist.......but the car is way too cheap for it to be a genuine advert. Perhaps the Ebay seller's account has been hacked? I think the latest advert will disappear before too long.
Andrew.

Hi Andy,andyd wrote:More shenanigans
Ebay and Gumtree seem to be a hotbed of fraudulent activity, more so than the other car sales websites.

Re: 280 Capri
Gumtree I can sort of understand, but Ebay you would think would be more 'On the Ball'Andrew 2.8i wrote:Hi Andy, andyd wrote:More shenanigans
