Re: 1984 2.8 injection
Hi Andy,
I can't deny that the 2.8 Capri is an enthusiast's dream, but I can't see it making more than £7,000 tops at auction.
All the best,
Andrew.
Perhaps it comes with a suitcase containing £20,000 in the boot!andyd wrote:Guide range: £25,000-27,000
Very nice of you to say so Andy, thanks, but mine is nowhere near as clean as Nick's, for example.andyd wrote:If they think that Engine Bay is Clean they need to look at Andrews and a few others on here

The engine bay is not perfect but looks very original, it even looks like the wings are original. For its originality it will probably make this car very desirable, however a little effort from the seller in the engine bay area could make it look a lot better.andyd wrote:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1984-Ford-Cap ... 3f51e12ff8

Hi,
It will be interesting to see if it sells for the estimate. It still seems a little high to me.

Hi All,
A very nice looking 2.8 special for sale on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1985-FORD-CAP ... 1ea4015d0d
Looking at the photo of the dashboard, I can't help noticing that something is not quite right!

My XR has now got the Door Cards and Boot Trim removed for the Waxoyl Treatment...... I hate taking good stuff apart although prevention is better than cure, but I wont be happy until its all back on the car and the fixings not stored in a box
