Hi,
Good spot. It seems strange to end the Ebay auction to send it to a proper classic car auction instead.
It's hard to keep up with all the changes!
All the best,
Andrew.
Being a synical, a possibility is they were testing the water to see what interest / value / offers perhaps, to set the reserve and do any work required? There's been a couple like that I've enquired about and the seller has not been interested in me coming and taking a look or making excuses on the first day it advertised.....
I gave up chasing 3.0S and bought a 3.0 Ghia Manual, to turn into an S, (Apologies to others I need catch up on some posts I did before the holidays regarding the S interior I'm after)
I was hoping either or both would go to end of auction to guage the prices as mine is in a similar condition as I will be selling it soon and wanted to understand how much genuine interest there was in these two.

Hi,
Well, the Anglia auction is next Saturday, so not long to wait. The price the orange one fetches may give some indication of a value for yours.
As for genuine interest, if it is in as good condition as the photo suggests, you won't have to worry about lack of interest!

Hi,
It does look like it, particularly as there is what appears to be an oil stain on the drive. If the oil is dripping out the engine, why didn't the seller remove the board for the photo?
Becoming a bit of a farce now....my mate was going to bid on an Avenger in Malta..he phoned about the car and they said they had set a reserve but at the top of the ad it said..NO RESERVE..today the price shot up to over £5k, effectively reaching their reserve so it couldn't be sold lower. My bet is it will appear soon with a proper reserve price...people like to play games on eBay....I would rather not sell my car on there as its prone to problems and dreamers...
the wheels i commissioned to Image design and were specially cut with matching inserts, 8 inch rears and 7.5 fronts, all with 205/ 50s the tyres are like new.
