wanted capri
Hi looking for a Capri any model considered but must be a manual gearbox.I don't mind some work a 20s would be nice but as I say anything considered.thankyou.

I have a 1982 ford Capri calypso with a rs2000 engine in it
Very good condition little bits of work left to do on it as would expected from a 33year old car.
Graphite grey over silver
None sunroof
Original wings
Rs 4 spoke jbw 13x7
Lowered inch at front
2.8 springs at back
Sportex exhaust
Mk2 grill
disc, pads and drums done about 2k miles ago.
CD player in glove box original radio still in the dash.
Type 9 gear box
Looking for around 4k for it I don't really want to sell it but I want project car and this is to good to start ripping it apart.

Hi... I just so happens that I have discussed with our son to move his Capri on....1.6 Laser 1985
We brought it 2 years ago, from a guy in Scotland, who basically stripped it down, rebuilt it/re-sprayed.
At the time, we paid £2600.. which for the car and condition it was good...
Its been through 2 MOT's and just passed another 2 weeks ago... with flying colors..
Unfortunately, my son has neglected the car... so before it gets to a complete wreck!!... I have talked him into selling it on...
I can provide photos of what if looked like 2 years ago when we brought it... and photos of what it looks like now...
To be honest... it's just the paintwork that lets it down....someone who know what they are doing with a machine mop, will probably do wonders with it
