Andrew.
If I lived closer I would go look at it just to see for myself.

This is the sort of Car that will end up being sold to KGF and they will sell for £10k......

I'm surprised that hasn't sold as with the one Rumone is selling for £5k...It seems people are paying for the overpriced Cars :?

4 speeders at under £6k should be getting snapped up

Andy
Hi Andy,
I agree, both these cars seem very good value at under £6k. It seems the top end cars are selling, but I've also noticed the bottom end stuff that needs thousands to get it up to a good standard are also selling at unrealistic prices. I wish I had a bit of spare garage space as these 2 cars look a bargain 8-)

All the best
Neil
Thanks Neil.maybe my car seems to cheap! Not had much response to be honest!maybe it,s because iam"up north" loll
anyway its had a clean now! :xd:

Wow!!!!! Your car looks superb, I can't understand why you haven't sold it yet. Perhaps like you say your in the wrong part of the country. A really tatty one around my way sold for over £2k which would have needed a fortune spending on it to get it to the standard of yours.

Out of interest why don't you ask KGF what they'd offer for your car?

viewtopic.php?f=15&t=43256

No harm in asking!

Good luck

Does look really nice even if not perfect.
People need educating that the 4 Speed is the one you pay more for :D At £5k its a bargain IMO....Good job I'm out of the Capri Market

Manchester isn't too bad and you offered delivery :applaud: Devon seems to be the same.

I sold my XR2 to KGF as I couldn't sell it, they put £2500 on it and it sold within a week :o
I know they have a good Website and Central(ish) location, but I would rather travel a bit further to see the car in the Flesh and save some £££'s

Hi,
Nice work if you can get it! :D

Although to be fair, as we've said before, KGF have perfected the advertising aspect of selling cars.

All the best,
Andrew.

Hi Andy,
Cliff must be on a break from Capri searching, he hasn't logged on for two weeks.
He did say that some decent cars would probably come up for sale while he wasn't looking for one.

Hi,
What I wrote in my post above does not mean we should stop posting links to suitable cars for sale, I meant don't be surprised if you don't receive an immediate response from Cliff.

All the best,
Andrew.

Hi All,
Still for sale. All joking aside, I would have thought that it was worth £5500, judging by the photos.

All the best,
Andrew.

It can be frustrating finding the right one, for sure. Especially when you travel to see a car that's not as advertised, which seems to be every single car I've ever looked at pretty much.
Not sure if it's down to sellers genuinely not knowing better or just trying their luck.
I went to look at one that was mentioned in this thread and must say it was not what I expected. I feel the 'nobody has been to view' was more along the lines of 'nobody with little enough knowledge has been to view' line of things.

It's difficult to gauge Capris on their advertised prices currently, some rotters are advertised high, and some fairly clean (from the photos) seem cheap. It's all over the place.

Perhaps it's jsut the classic car market, and the Capri is no different.
After seeing the price for MK1 Escort shells mainly composed of rust I'm thankful the Capris are relatively cheap!

Hi,
I think what we're experiencing is every Tom, Dick and Harry who is selling their average, at best, car, thinking that it's worth similar money to the high-end cars we've seen for sale recently at certain dealers.

Also, Cliff hasn't even logged on to the forum since July. Sadly, it looks as if he may have given up looking for a Capri. I hope not, as buying one would have been the best decision he's ever made! :D

He could still have been on here reading the posts though of course. As you don't have to log on to read any of the threads. He did seem very keen though, then just disappeared.
