Hi,
From the photos it looks like a nice car for £6K.
If it's as described, I imagine that it will sell quite quickly.

All the best,
Andrew.

It looked even better when it was £5500! Then it went up to £7500, when Cliff inquired about it. Perhaps he should have honored the the original sale price for Cliff :xd:

Hi Neil,
The seller was extremely foolhardy to suddenly get greedy. He could well have sold it to Cliff ages ago, providing the car was as described.

I have to admit, took me 18 months of looking and searching before I got mine! Worth it in the end. Patience is indeed a virtue.

This one might be worth a look http://www.gumtree.com/p/ford/ford-capr ... 1125379081

Sounds like he won't take a Nissan Micra in P/X though......... Hope that's not a deal breaker for you

That must be this car, advertised recently on the forum's For Sale page.

It's good to be able to put a photo to the description, and I do quite like the look of the cross-spoke alloys.

Hi Neil,
I'm surprised that hasn't sold as with the one Rumone is selling for £5k...It seems people are paying for the overpriced Cars :?

4 speeders at under £6k should be getting snapped up

Hi Andy,
I agree, both these cars seem very good value at under £6k. It seems the top end cars are selling, but I've also noticed the bottom end stuff that needs thousands to get it up to a good standard are also selling at unrealistic prices. I wish I had a bit of spare garage space as these 2 cars look a bargain 8-)

All the best

Hi,
I've noticed that too. I think some buyers place too much emphasis on originality. That's fine if the car is in excellent original condition, but I don't see the point if the car will need restoration to bring it up to a decent standard. It won't be original then.

I was happy to pay less for a decent restored car than an original would have cost, but it's personal preference, I suppose.

All the best,
Andrew.

Hi Andy,
I agree to a certain extent, depending on overall condition. If they're decent, I think that the buyer won't lose money should they have to sell in the future.

They are rare enough if in good condition to be a good investment IMO....

Wasn't that the price it was originally? Its dropping quickly now. Perhaps its not as tidy as the photo's suggest.

Hi Neil,
It makes you wonder if it's not all as it seems......? But a good price even if it does need a few more £'s spent on it.

Hi,
I wonder of Neil is correct?
Photos can hide a lot of sins. I know only too well....
