Hi,
From the photos it looks like a nice car for £6K.
If it's as described, I imagine that it will sell quite quickly.
All the best,
Andrew.

It looked even better when it was £5500! Then it went up to £7500, when Cliff inquired about it. Perhaps he should have honored the the original sale price for CliffAndrew 2.8i wrote:Hi,

The seller was extremely foolhardy to suddenly get greedy. He could well have sold it to Cliff ages ago, providing the car was as described.

I have to admit, took me 18 months of looking and searching before I got mine! Worth it in the end. Patience is indeed a virtue.

Hi Cliff,
This one might be worth a look http://www.gumtree.com/p/ford/ford-capr ... 1125379081
Sounds like he won't take a Nissan Micra in P/X though......... Hope that's not a deal breaker for you
All the best
Neil

It's good to be able to put a photo to the description, and I do quite like the look of the cross-spoke alloys.

Hi Neil,
I'm surprised that hasn't sold as with the one Rumone is selling for £5k...It seems people are paying for the overpriced Cars
4 speeders at under £6k should be getting snapped up

I agree, both these cars seem very good value at under £6k. It seems the top end cars are selling, but I've also noticed the bottom end stuff that needs thousands to get it up to a good standard are also selling at unrealistic prices. I wish I had a bit of spare garage space as these 2 cars look a bargain
All the best

I've noticed that too. I think some buyers place too much emphasis on originality. That's fine if the car is in excellent original condition, but I don't see the point if the car will need restoration to bring it up to a decent standard. It won't be original then.
I was happy to pay less for a decent restored car than an original would have cost, but it's personal preference, I suppose.
All the best,
Andrew.

I agree to a certain extent, depending on overall condition. If they're decent, I think that the buyer won't lose money should they have to sell in the future.

They are rare enough if in good condition to be a good investment IMO....Andrew 2.8i wrote:Hi Andy, andyd wrote:4 speeders at under £6k should be getting snapped up

Wasn't that the price it was originally? Its dropping quickly now. Perhaps its not as tidy as the photo's suggest.andyd wrote:Now £5500sheff wrote:Was £5995 now £5750 http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C623982

It makes you wonder if it's not all as it seems......? But a good price even if it does need a few more £'s spent on it.
