Hi Andrew,
Yes sort of it's been purchased by a third party and its at the body shop at the moment.
I'll be as honest as possible it's the 3.0ghia on sale/sold on this forum.
It's a horrible (my opinion) blue with a very blue interior,
The engine will be changed back from a3.1 to 3.0 any bodywork that needs doing will be done along with the colour change.
The interior is going to be done by myself as its part of what I do in leather and alcantara and as I've mentioned the Sierra alloys will be changed to polished four spoke rs alloys. Looking forward to getting behind the wheel of a capri again.
Les.

Hi,
Yes that's the one like I said it's blue with a very blue interior. I don't know if I'll spoil it by changing the colour and more so doing the interior in leather etc but I think if it looks ok then I hope the purists won't be too annoyed.

Hi Les,
Oh right, I think I know the car you mean, it should make a good car once you've got it how you want it. I wouldn't worry about upsetting the purists, have the car done to your own personal specs. Why not, it's you who's got to drive it and look after it.
I look forward to seeing some photos when you pick it up. 8-)

All the best,
Andrew.

Hi,
Good find, as Andy says, take some photos and post them for us to see.
Is it red, by any chance?

Hi,
Sounds great, have you bought it yet? We always look forward to seeing photos of members cars. 8-)
I asked about the colour because the description sounded similar to a car that was for sale on here a while back.
All the best,
Andrew.

My poor old Green Capri Passed its MOT last FEB needing new core plugs nylon bushes and 4 new tyres. Since then it has done 15 miles.
Really reluctant to get rid of but its just a crime to leave it sitting there. It has a rust bubble on the drivers door (I will get some pics sorted this weekend ) The Paint and body work overall is in good condition all though a little flat on the roof. The car has around 75k miles and was running in December but the battery has now died( will replace this if there is interest in the car). It has Carla check seats and i have a pair of Rear quarter Louvres to sell also. I have owned the cars since 2012. Had the usually pesters to sell at £3500 but I know it worth more than that. One guy offered me £800 for the registration :). I live in Cannock in the west midlands about 10 mins from J 11 of the M6 and would love to see this car get the home it deserves.
In the three years I've owned it I have had to change the Front struts and last years Mot work. Other than that it has little trouble.

Hi DM,
That's a really nice early 2.8 you have there. Pity you're selling it, but as you say, it's a criminal to have it and not use it.
I notice that you haven't mentioned a price, I think it would help buyers decide if they wanted it if they knew how much it was.

Good luck with the sale.
Andrew.

Two of the pepper pots were stolen from my van and i may still have two in a friends garage. They are very cheap on ebay either way but I'm looking for £5000 ovno as this will complete the deposit on my new house and its similar to what i paid for it a few years ago. I'm not greedy so no need to make profit, especially if its going to be used again.
