engine
receipts for fully rebuilt engine by specialised engines & fitted in 1989 but mot,s prove that has only done 34k since as car has not been used much & garaged all the time , the engine has 3.1 pistons , toughrided crank & rods , steel end caps , steel timing gear , hp oil pump , heavy duty clutch , decked block & heads , big valve match ported heads , highlift cam , 40 dfav carb , janspeed exhaust manifolds , bosch dizzy , dyno,ed on the rolling road twice & had 170 bhp at rear wheels with points & a standard exhaust fitted , just added new 2" sportex exhausts & electronic ignition which should put the power around just over 185 at wheels , about 220 bhp at flywheel .
body
bodywise it looks like its original paint except n/s door , paint looks a bit thin , there is a smallish dent in the back of o/s rear quarter , the only other dents are in the tops of the wings where people leave dents with there elbows when working on it but these are very minor , the bonnet has some dents , it has a crack about 3 to 4 inches in length on n/s rear arch & some bubbling on o/s lower rear corner , so wont be a big job to prepare for repainting , the underneath is done & finished with stone chip & waxoyled .
interior
it has the original light blue ghia interior & is really good , no rips , minor wear , a bit of sagging , has a small fag burn in drivers seat .
brakes & suspension
its just had all new brakes , copper brake pipes all round , black steel braided hoses from rally design , pair of rear wheel cylinders pads etc , 2.8i bilstein suspension rollbars all round , new poly bushes , rear axle location kit , rosejointed rear roll bar .
wheels
280 brooklands style 7x15" alloys , these are genuine ford but are the sierra off set & have spacers , 205 50 15 tyres all matching .
overall
solid shell , just looks a little bit tatty paint wise , since mot I,ve done roughly 4k trouble free miles , dash is split needs replacing , rear parcel shelf missing , heater does,nt work & sunroof does,nt open , just have,nt had time to do the odd bits , rear bumper is off it but comes with it , I have some more pics or I can take specific pics by request , cash on collection from st Austell , cornwall or I do travel to Northamptonshire occasionally so maybe able to arrange something there or on the way can divert at some extra cost , looking for £4,500 ono , may part ex classic ford via ebay rules , any questions just ask . 07532 447 970
