You sold a Riley Kestrel for £85? No wonder you're losing money on cars.

Terra, as an old Riley man, I can tell you, if you sold a 34 Kestrel, in the worst condition possible, for less than 6K you were well turned over
The Capri is still for sale, and well worth it

I sold a 34 kestrel in about 2006. Basket case but complete. I think I got £4500

It had suicide doors and I have to admit if it was my project I'd be inclined to use them.

The only Nissan I owned briefly was a cherry turbo. (Yes. They did make them). I think there's only 3 left in the uk.

C1 bollox is quite a well known one. I'm sure there's only around 3-4 left now. Even in mid 90s when I had one they were ubber rare. Mine was silver. Lowered. On bluebird turbo wheels. The original wheels are horrible. The cherry Europa with the Alfa flat four was a lot more common.

Parts availability was a big issue even back then and I knew it was fast and a ticking time bomb. I only had it around 3 months.

Not in the right department, but relevent to a past post, I had a rant at Fords for a payment to obtain a car manufacture date certificate.
Last week got a nice letter from a young lady of Fords of Dagenham with the much needed certificate FOC, so thanks.
Not so much thanks to Tetra, had another lady interested in my Capri, but she wanted it at a very much less price, as having read in the forum, that it was well over priced.
Read the Capri writeup from practical classics website folks, the earlier Mk 2 the car everyone will be wanting
Also anyone selling a heap of scrap for £1000 should think before putting pen to paper, albeit, genuine advice is always welcome
