That`s an understatement - you`d need to be very, very brave to take that on! Depressing to look at, every part of it`s rotten, in fact I don`t think I`ve ever seen a bonnet rotted to that degree. £850 seems a bit steep for what it is, I`d say you were nearer the mark TBH. Whatever - good luck!

it is very very rotton I don't see why the bids have got that high its not as if its a rare car although the seller has been very honest with the description for me it wants a new shell that would be the cheaper option but the engine has been stood for so long its going to want a overhaul along with the gearbox and axle I would of though the exhaust is shot too and the brakes will need a good overaul too by the time you have done all that your going to be so far into it financially it dosnt make sense when you can buy I running in good condition I try to keep my prices when there done as low as possible to help people get on the capri ladder although it seems a lately the odd person are buying them cheap from me all done and moted then re loading them on ebay with an extra £1500 on the price
tag lol

best of luck to who buys that one though its a lot of work for a lot of money

Hi,
I think it's fantastic what you do to the cars, and it's great to see them restored to their former glory for new owners to enjoy. Great photos too.
Although it does explain why everyone else says that Capris are a rare sight on the roads these days.........they're all in Doncaster! ;)

Andrew.
hi Andrew
yeh I do try to keep as many alive as possible its not about bodgeing them up for maximum profit I put a lot of work into each car and try to keep the prices down as much as I can but if the car needs something it gets it I wouldn't like to think id just spent 2k on a car to have it brake down five mins later or bits start falling off
plus not everyone has a mega amount to spend on there purchase for something the might only use on a weekend ive even started doing deposit schemes for a certain few just to help out where I can

the amount I buy now that are full of filler and fiberglass for what they spent on that they could of bought the panels to do the job right lol

there are a few now in doncaster lol I think my count is eight at the min and there is some more pending out of the eight though three are forsale and two have sold

regards
steve
