Well, put it this way. A Capri in about the same state as yours with a FULLY OPERATIONAL 2.9 24V Cosworth engine went on ebay yesterday for £620 and then later on in the day a fully operational 2.8 went for just over £800 !!!!!!
Turns out that the guy who offered you £500 for your 5 cylinders wasnt a complete :wank: after all then.

£1250?????

...................................... but, as you say, the rest of the car aint too horrific really so id sort the engine out before you sell it for the simple task that it is. You may just get that £1250 then

if car is as solid as looks in photos it's worth 1250 as a bare shell mate, was looking for one couple of years back, and majority of stuff in north for sale was well ropey, would have took your hand off, was still tempted to buy yours site unseen and store ut for future ref. Got a real minter but as with all recent capris had to go down south and get from trusted capri enthusiast, could sell this one bout 3 times a day if wanted up here, stick it on ebay, lot of people would want to stick a 2.9 cossie in it so engine would'nt be major prob. And bet ya get over 2000 or fix it up, with a cossie or standard and make a very tidy profit

A 2.8i as a spares cars worth £1k , as for 24v conversion basket cases its very easy on Ebag to get ya mate to BID UP the price . Seen ropey old 4 pots go for £1500 too .

I've been and looked at this Capri and its worth the asking price all day long . I take it your some kind of Capri expert are we ? A trader with intimate knowledge of the Capri ? No , ya not are you , just another fuckwit knob head wank stain expert :wank:

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA, SHIT OUT!!!!!

Whats the matter, unsure of yourself and your capabilities are you?!
Never doubt yourself old man. Only when you start doing that do you start getting old and slow

Go on, ask the question and ill gladly send my address over to you. You can slump your fat ass into your little lorry, come see me, then you can prove yourself. You retarded truck driving tranny.
Ive been saving up my spunk for you, dont let me down now.

Mind you, if I gave you my address you would prob only order some pizzas to my door or come and bobby knock my door anyway.

Ive not laughed so much in quite a while. Who do you think you are, Rambo or something??? Cock!!

I quite like being called "love" by the way, keep speaking to me like that and you may just have yourself a new admirer then I can come over to yours, kneel on your shoulders and fuck your face with my septic stump then rub my shit all over your truck-driving-tranny bitch tits.

By the way, Rumone.
I do appologise if anything I said was taken to heart by yourself, it was as I said factual comments from current sales which I have witnessed and a bit of banter.
Then you got people like mick who (even though was actually absolutely fuck all to do with him) sticks his face in and thinks hes clever by mouthing off without his trousers on and cant dig himself out of the hole hes dug himself.

You didnt honestly let this....................... person onto you property did you?!! :o

Anyway, good luck with your sale.

whoa boys calm down, at the end of the day anyone can offer whatever they want, all ya gotta say is no thanks mate, that's the strangest fighting talk i've ever heard, there's nobody likes a good punch up more than myself, but i've as yet never felt the need to spunk over someone's face after administering a slap, hahaha. Bout car mate, seriously giving away at £1250 so don't take less.
