I'm looking to trade my 1.6 Capri for either a 3.0 or 2.8i, or anything anyone offers me that takes my fancy...
It's a 1.6 Laser, in silver. I have tried to keep it as original as possible. it's done around 100,000 miles, but this is unconfirmed.
It has an uncracked dash, the windscreen winder is intact, the speakers and door cars are original, the parcel shelf is complete, and it has 3 spots of rust (!), which are on the front splitter, probably best described as cosmetic scabs otherwise I have tried to keep it as original as possible. The brakes squeak but have no fault.
The only fitted luxuries are a manual choke and weber carbs in the engine, and alloys. It does also have an incredible custom exhaust which means you'll turn heads in it...
I'm after a quicker capri. And by that I mean a 2.8i or 3.0s. I'm only interested in manual transmission.
It has MOT until next March, and tax until october. Since I have had it, it has had fitted a new dashboard dial pod as the lights failed on the previous one, and brand new rear leaf springs (I think the previous ones were original, and as such, made the car look like a dog dragging its arse along the floor!).
If someone offered me the right price for a car which I've treated with the love and care it's needed since I've had it I might consider, but I'd really like a quicker capri/car.

Straight swap for my rat?.....with 2.0 efi pinto, 1.6 4 speed box, 1.6 axle, lowered, stiffened, will match a std 2.8 up the strip and beat it on a track, body tatty but will put years MOT on it.
