1.6 Capri Cabaret II , For Sale or Trade

Hi,
I have a beautiful red capri which is in great nick, has been kept in a garage nearly every night of it's life, starts every time, perfect for every day use. I want to sell it or trade it for something a bit more practical as i have been using it as my only car, and if last winter was anything to go by, i can't face another one with no option but rear wheel drive! I always wanted to own and drive a capri, and now that i have achieved that goal, im happy to let someone else have a go!
I am willing to trade for a more modern hatchback, anything really so long as it is reliable, if it's black it's better and power steering is quite important. If you don't have anything that fits the bill, but want the capri i would be happy to discuss a price

Im sure thats a Mk 3 mate due to the age and fixtures, Having said that its an absolutly gorgeous car mate and should get top dollar for it.

yeah it is a Mk3, But its a Cabaret II edition.

more details -

1983 Ford Capri Cabaret II (Special Edition), 1600cc, Cardinal Red. 74000 miles on the clock.

In very good condition for its age, I am only the third owner from new, and both the previous owner and I have kept it garaged every night. I have owned it for a little over a year, however the previous owner had it for 25 years.

The original carb was changed by the previous owner to a weber, with a manual choke, and he has also installed an immobiliser. I have put in a new battery only a month ago, so it starts first time, every time. Original Radio, Interior in good condition. I am just about to have it MOT’d so it will come with a full year’s MOT.

Car can be seen in Winchester, Hampshire, and I am asking for £2000, but open to best offer

It is an amazing car, some more pics of interior and engine bay with blown up pictures of problem rust areas will help you achieve that price.

good luck, I would be tempted if it wasnt for Uni and my 2.0 as it looks like a stunner and is quite rare on the show scene.

oh and there are only 38 cabaret 1's left and only 22 cabaret 2's left so a rare car now.
