RS3100 / RS2600 - Wanted

Post by benmay100 » Sat Mar 14, 2020 11:46 pm

Hi everyone

I’m looking for a nice original RS3100/RS2600

I know these are rare (to understate it) but sure there will be some lurking around that may be for sale at the right money.

PM me if so!

Thanks.

Hope you have an understanding mortgage advisor :xd:

But I admire your aspiration and wish you luck.

RPU 654M was always the one to beat back in my day. Modena green 3100, owned by Phil something-or-other.

Phil Boote restored it, he lives in Devon I see him a few times a year at local shows.

Car sold last year, never seen it but think it's one of the best out there.
Don't you even dare think about opening your sunroof :twak:

Thinking back, he had it a while. As far as I recall it was the first one properly restored and shown.
I have photos somewhere of it at Goodwood in 1989, when they split the CCI National into regional ones.

Modena green is a gorgeous colour. When I respray mine and make it nice, modena green with black wheels and bonnet would be the one to go for I think.
I'm the one that leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.
