The Ford Capri Laser Page

I need an oil pressure fitting to connect my oil pressure pipe to the block
I have a 2.8 cologne engine but it appears any pinto engine fitting will also fit
Burton power supplied me with 2 separate pieces which fitted the block but not the pipe, when I phoned they told me I needed THEIR pipe and another fitting to modify the dash end (cost £45 and i would need to take the dash apart!)
To say I was frustrated was an understatement!

Ive just cut an m10 thread onto the adaptor Burton supplied and it seems to have worked

It seemed excessive to have to replace the pipe, buy 3 other fittings and take the dash apart for just the one connection S
So if anyone else is missing the fitting (or has a cologne/pinto block with the electrical switch fitting) but wants the guage to work, this would appear a better solution
