2.8i rear anti roll bar

Ford Capri 2.8i rear anti roll bar with bushes

Bought to fit to 2.0 Laser but the mounts are in a diferent place.

That`s interesting, I thought all such parts were interchangeable, apart from bush bores. Which mounts?

Looking at the photo, that looks like an Escort (mark 2 ?) anti roll bar, it's not from a Capri.

As Steve has correctly pointed out, the 2.8 and Laser anti roll bars are interchangeable.

Well this is interesting. I can't remember, or find a record of where I got this from, but it was definitely advertised as a Capri 2.8 rear anti roll bar.

I agree that it looks like it isn't a Capri part at all, which would explain why I couldn't get it to fit. I do remember being confused at the time as I was pretty sure it should bolt on. Clearly I didn't do anything about it, and it just sat in the garage for years.

Thanks for the detective work on this. I'll take it off sale and try to work out what to do with it.
