Re: Brand new 2.8 V6
I was thinking it looked a bit pricey, but I then went on Burton Power website and made up a basket of parts to rebuild a cologne, i.e. new pistons, rings, bearings, cam, followers, rocker shafts, oil pump, gaskets, head bolts, exhaust valves etc and before I knew it I was looking at £1582.
Given that £1582 is just for parts (albeit nice ones) and you've then got to start work on your existing engine block (bore hone at the least), £1900 for a crated factory fresh one looks pretty good!
