Looking for a set of Capri 280 Wheels

Post by Stevo »

Would anyone have a set of 280 7x15 wheels that they would sell or know someone selling a set?

About £950 inc delivery then tyres https://www.capriclub.co.uk/Capri_280_7 ... --640.html

I had a set, nice wheels only issue because you have to press or more than often knock the centre caps on with side of your fist I found easiet, the caps were showing tiny cracks under the laquer which were getting worse. The proper wheels had the securing bolt.

I would imagine that Andy is correct when he states that the website has a misprint. There is no mention of the offset in the latestprinted version of the catalogue so I can't double check.
However, I think it's only sensible that anybody interested in buying a set should check with the Club before parting with the cash.

This is in the reviews;
from William Naismith on Apr 30th 2020 Verified Purchase
Decent Quality and a direct replacement for Brooklands wheels. Hub caps are different but new ones are provided. In case you were wondering the offset is E5 the same as original as measured. I originally brought two, have just ordered two more. Very fast delivery. Thank you. William

There was an Ebay ad for a set of 4 wheels and that stated ET5, can't see any listing now.

Mine fitted staright on with no issues, although they were Midland wheels (now JBW) but all the same.
