So yes the fish net headrests have got me wanting as a Facebook member has use them with the seats I have and I just love them . Yes I did notice Nicks fish nets and was going to try and talk him out of having them . But sorry they are so retro .
So has anybody got any .
Side note for our Martin have you got any ?

Here’s a picture and yes mine would be made more darker then these .

You could have these recovered in grey leather to match your seats:

They are Recaro, so there's a chance that they will fit.

So cut a long story short I asked on eBay for the headrest worth ago so I got a message come threw saying I have a pair yours posted £70 Christ I thought that a result then looking at the picture I noticed something odd not the headrests but the tablecloth yes we was only joking about bring back the tea towel and I thought ! Hang on I have seen that picture one hit of google bang there’s the picture . Yes funny how the guy lived in north Ireland and they never sold in Essex .
So will show you the pictures as Andrews tea towel saved me £70 ......

Back to headrest I just got a email from Martin who has a pair of normal headrest and Marie’s friend is going to make me a set
So as always Martin saves the day again or was it the tea towel ......

Hi Jason,
Are you planning on converting normal headrests to fishnets? That sounds like an interesting project.

Andrew.

Yes well not me Maries friend I have talked her in to the job . So Nick is getting me pictures and the measurements and Martin is sending me two normal headrest and hope she can do her wonder . I give Anything a go .

Also was talking to Martin about the front wing paint problem I have , So I am going to let Martin have a look in Mays CCI meet as he may let his paint man have a go for me . yes a little drive to Lincoln but I can leave the car with him until it’s alldone .
The guys at Tickover do not do paint . Also another place near me seems to be getting in to trouble . And when I phoned a classic car paint place they said o just slap a new wing on with out even looking .

It’s getting harder to find somewhere who does a good job .

That's why it's best to go with recommendations. I my opinion you just can't take chances when it comes to paintwork.
Martin once told me that his paint man is very particular and the jobs are completed to a very high standard.

It doesn't sound easy. I wonder if it's ever been attempted before?

Don’t ever like saying things like this but there’s a very big story there so not for me also can I say it’s only what I have heard and never spoke or had work done by them . Say know more ,say know more ,wink wink , nudge nudge ....

So that’s why Mr Martin is having a look .......

Yes it might go really wrong but £220 + dying them grey or £35 it’s got to be worth a go.

They do look in great condition. Still, if your plan works they'll be given a new lease of life. Plus, I suspect that they'll also feature in a yet to be released (or filmed) online video.... :)

Newsflash...............at one ................

So I am looking with Marie’s friend and she says let me look inside first so they are held in with a black bar and the leather tucks in around the side . A good design I should say but wait .

This is what is in sIde our headrest . A very large metal bracket cage please see pictures .

So I am back to the drawing board as the frame would need removing with 4 bars also there’s a very good adjusting link on the frame what would need cutting back and welding to a new frame .

So project on hold now as I have to have a think so far in costs £35 headrests and £13 2 meters of grey leather . But I had a go and the headrest were not damaged in the attempt.
