Brake Servo O-Ring
Brake Servo O-Ring
Anyone know where I can get a new o-ring that goes from the master cylinder onto the hose?

Re: Brake Servo O-Ring
Have you tried asking at a Ford garage if they still stock one or if they would compare it with one from a newer model eg late escort, early Focus etc. I bet they're all the same size.
Try this first but if you're really stuck I may have a secondhand one on an old servo that you could have.

If someone could determine the size it shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement?

Re: Brake Servo O-Ring
You need a grommet to fit in the servo hole, not an o ring.
Perhaps Martin has a sprare one?
All the best

Re: Brake Servo O-Ring
I had a real problem getting one of these, they are like rocking horse poo, and as it happens I have a rocking horse that delivers.
They need to be a very good fit to create a good seal other wise you just get vacuum hiss which effect the engine running and the brakes!. I would be very surprised if you can find anything but the real thing that will work.
there is one on ebay for £85 the valve and rubber, i think the price tells you how rare they are.
in the ended i ended up with a couple of them, so I have a spare, just PM me and you can have it
