Oil sump pan
Hi don't suppose anyone has a decent sump pan for my 280 I'm restoring? The one on it is a bit battered to say the least. Many thanks

Re: Oil sump pan
Have you tried the usual Capri parts specialists (Capri Club International or Martin at Caprigear)?Essexsoulboy wrote:Hi don't suppose anyone has a decent sump pan for my 280 I'm restoring? The one on it is a bit battered to say the least. Many thanks

Re: Oil sump pan
I would be surprised if there is any difference at all in the sump between a 280 and the sump of any other Capri with a V6 Cologne engine - unless you want to pay 'Brooklands tax supplement' on it. There are plenty of suppliers out there who would do that, fortunately our regulars are cut from better cloth though.
Just ask for a 2.8i sump. They aren't in short supply new or used.

I've got one available.
