I can’t find the post but I am sure somebody was looking for the white front indicators, as John at the CCI meet said they work on some cars but not on others and that is very true But anyway they are about £85 but on eBay new £55

These clear indicators look great on all Mk3 capris in my opinion. Give the front end a lovely fresh look

Just thought I would ask but as I have the side indicators in Orange I would like to swap them for white as well . Does anybody know if that’s something you can get ?
I have been looking on eBay and other places but with no luck , I am sure I spotted a 280 with them on at the CCI meet but was not really taking everything in at the time to ask the fella where he got them .

Also Andy I think yours has side repeaters but are they orange ? As they might be the same part ?

Yes Jason they are orange and look very similar to yours, but mine haven't got the rubber surround....
They are approx 30mm square (I measured them as I thought that might be your next question)

Good idea to change them to clear so that they match the front indicators on your car. Those square ones help to maintain an original (ish) look too. Obviously, don't forget to change the bulbs too.
I'd be amazed if the ones Andy found don't fit the Capri.

Went to order them but thought I would check mine first against the picture , so my back and legs will not let me get my hand under the wing so had my son trying to help . Do they turn or twist off as mine will not move and for the life of me I can not remember how they come off .
I know peter will be on here soon and say “ it’s so easy you just ..................”
so as a good person and not force anything I will await for peter or somebody who has them to tell me how they come off with me not breaking them .

I don't have them, as you know. However, I have looked at photos on the net, and it would appear that there are two little tabs that hold the repeater assembly tight to the wing. When pressed in they will allow the repeater to be pulled out.

Looking at the pics in the link you can see the tabs. Not taken mine out muself, but the garage put a new bulb in one side for the MOT easily enough

It’s raining at the moment so will go out to play when it stops . Thanks for that

Jason, I had these orange side repeaters on my previous later 1986 Laser and had to remove one to replace a bulb and from memory just like the lads have already said, just reached up and squeezed the tabs and popped it out. They can get very tight with time so might need a good strong squeeze but should then just pop out !

If its very tight get a hammer and chisel to it from the front and give it a good whack ONLY JOKING !!!

Jason those clear side repeaters will look superb mate and will compliment your front clear ones a treat and give your side wing a really nice modern/fresh look to it. Don't forget the picture afterwards and as Andrew said fit orange bulbs in them.

Funny you brought up this subject as I was only just talking to some guy on facebook last night about clear front indicators and was going to say he should replace the side ones too but like you I could see none available listed for the Capri so if these ones that Andy found fit how cool is that !
