I got some from CCI, not sure if they are different to any of the others that are around like Burton etc. but may work out cheaper if you are a CCI member which is why I went for it

Hi Mark,
It's probably best to buy some new as you won't know the condition of used ones until you put them on the car.
I notice that the Burton link above is for Escort springs. They may fit, I don't know, but here's the link for Capri singles.

As well as the suggestions above, you could also try Martin.
Andrew.

Hi Mark,
Not sure why you need to change your rear springs as I've always thought your car seems to sit nicely and has a nice smooth ride. Changed mine a few years back and have never been that happy with the cars back end since. Firstly I had to fit 1 1/2" lowering blocks to get the back down to a sensible height.... Secondly I had to turn the dampers right down to soften the rear up and it still feels too hard
Check out Martin to see what he can offer but try to avoid anything HD (heavy duty) or might raise the height..... Be interesting to find out what the original Ford spring rate spec was for the 2.8, but I think it was definitely lower than 145lbs.

ps.... I'll have your old leaf springs if you go ahead with changing them
