reliable breaker

Post by rsderek »

Hi guys

Im after some finishing bits for my mk3 85 capri. Contacted a few known breakers and have been messed about by both of them so anyone know a decent reliable supplier. Tempted to name and shame but they are known to a lot of people and don't need the grief.

I need the following

new water pump, viscous type
viscous fan and coupling
fuel clip that goes on the engine subframe to hold the fuel line in place
black plastic trim for the remote mirror on the door card, ( mines got a lump broke out of in in storage)
engine bay decals
sunroof pad, and roof lining
grey sunroof handle and trim around this

cant believe the way some people run a business.
{rant over}

thanks

Don't be shy, any bad experiences, as well as good ones, are helpful to us all. It is common practice to do so, just be honest.

If it helps I have previously seen engine bay decals for sale on :ebay: so worth having a look on there as well?

Cheers

I bought a Continental brand water pump off ebay. Seems fine. There are a selection of viscous fans and couplings on there and i'm sure with looking most of the rest would be available.

Sunroof handles are expensive and getting hard to get so may pay not to be too picky about the colour of it unless your car is of show condition.

My petrol pipe clip on the crossmember was shot too so I just attached it with a P clip.
