Dug this out of my box of accumulated bits, hoping to clean it up and use it on my car as its a correct later 80s style leather-effect vinyl gaiter.
But once cleaned up and in daylight I noticed it was BROWN (had it in my head it was grey)
So its £15 if anyone wants it, plus postage.
Quite good condition, bit of wear to the stitching at the front but no holes. Plastic frame has one break at front but it fits nicely under the centre console. Pictured here in an otherwise grey interior so you can see how brown it is.
and also:

Quaife quick-shift lever for type 9 5 speed.
Easy bolt straight-on fitting. Lovely notchy gear change, done probably 10-15,000 miles on my car, but time for a change back to standard to make it more family friendly.
Picture is in as-removed state so I will clean it up a bit.
There's a bit of paint wear that the perfectionist would want to cover up, and the supplied knob has a couple of marks where it had to be bullied into unscrewing, but I'd recommend a bigger knob anyway as I always found this one a bit small. (fnar fnar) The thread size is normal ford gearknob so will take those nice pool ball ones you can get on ebay.
It doesn't buzz or rattle either, they only do that if you don't threadlock them.
£45 for this please, will be about a fiver to post I reckon too, unless you want to pick it up from TW2.

Gear lever gaiter brown vinyl - and quickshift
Re: Gear lever gaiter brown vinyl - and quickshift
Hi Noel,
Have you thought of using a tin of Halfords Flexible Vinyl Paint on the gaiter, in Light or Dark Grey? Nick is the expert on this
I have used it too, it is good stuff.

Just checked the HFVP description and it says; Penetrates surface & gives permanent colour finish and suitable for use on internal trim, plastic bumpers and wing mirrors. Not suitable for leather or upholsteryNoel wrote:Ha! Is it that flexible??

Maybe worth a try for £10??
I'm not familiar with Vinyl Kote.....
