Wanted Capri 2.8 injection,Thermo Time Switch Housing Gasket
Hi
Could anyone advise me where I can purchase a gasket from for the Capri 2.8 injection, Thermo Time Switch Housing also after a decent thermostat housing.
Also after a original sized fuel filter which goes under the bonnet mounted to the inner wing.
any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Icky 07751871640

Anybody know the part number for the thermo time switch gasket? Whenever I approach my Ford dealer getting them to power up their microfiche reader evidently proves too much for them, thus I end up getting nowhere!

Have you tried Tickover, Capri Club International or Capri Gear?

That's always an issue!
The FINIS for the thermotime housing gasket is 6024531. I last bought one three years ago, they were £0.92 each.

Excellent, that's great thanks Andrew
I don't suppose per chance you or anybody else on here has a full set of microfiche cards for the Capri? I do ask at the Ford dealers I pop into every now and then, but they all seam to have just one set (if any) which they're not too keen on letting go. It's always good to have the part numbers as they can easily be searched for on Fords computer system rather than doing it by a hook or by crook description method which tends to a) get lost in translation, b) oh, I'll look later response from the parts person, never to be heard of again
Thanks again Andrew. BTW I'll have to hook up with you re those mats in due course

No longer serviced. Don't suppose you purchased a couple for spares purposes Andrew which you'd be willing to let go? I do have gasket paper but I'd prefer to have the proper item
Thanks
Thanks

Sadly, I don't have any spares. Sorry.
It might be worth trying another dealer to ask if they have any old stock knocking about.
Andrew.

Yes, I'll do that
Odd this gasket isn't in the 'sets' on the market
Thanks

It is, but it's a lot to pay if you only need the one gasket.

Still, it is handy to have various spare gaskets to hand.
By the way, I've sent you a pm.
Andrew.
