heated rear window connector
hi can anyone tell me the easiest way to put this connector back on to the window, will it need re soldered or is there another way it can be done ,regards david
Re: heated rear window connector
Personally I would use superglue to fix to the glass, then some silver (Ag) conductive paint to connect electrically to the circuit on the glass. The stuff you can buy to repair heated screen elements. Solder would be difficult, it would probably end up a total mess (upside down, with glass acting as a heatsink.) Plus of course it won`t actually bond to the glass so will be very weak.

I haven't used conductive paint but it does seem like a good tip.
All the best.

This is exactly what I have done. A couple of small blobs of superglue then, checked continuity and it seems OK.Personally I would use superglue to fix to the glass...
